Welcome to Jiekun Huang's homepage!

I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at NUS Business School. I joined NUS in July 2009. My primary research interests focus on institutional investors, particularly the investment strategies of mutual and hedge funds and the role of institutional investors in corporate finance. I have presented at major conferences including the American Finance Association meetings, the Western Finance Association meetings, and the European Finance Association meetings. My research has received several best paper awards and has been published in the Review of Financial Studies and the Journal of Financial Economics.

Before joining NUS, I earned a PhD in finance from Boston College in 2009, an MA in finance (2003) and a BEcon in international finance (2000) from Xiamen University.
